The BAS cluster (BIOLOGICALLY ACTIVE SUBSTANCES) is a conglomeration of production and research organizations which are stakeholders in the field of the biologically active substances in nutrition and cosmetics.
The cluster is represented, managed and coordinated by the “Bioactive Components in Nutrition and Cosmetics” association – BCNC.
The strategic objective of the cluster is: Provision of appropriate conditions for maintenance and popularization of the high quality and safety (in production and distribution) of food (supplements) and cosmetic products, particularly such containing high percentage of bioactive substances.
The main activity of the cluster is: Integrating the resources in order to provide transparency for the quality and safety of the nutrition and cosmetic products, particularly biologically active substances which influence nutrition and are used in cosmetics.
